The Final Phase of Planned Development
at The Ford Plantation

Silk Hope, the final phase of planned development at The Ford Plantation, broke ground in Fall 2018. This intimate neighborhood will feature numerous common areas including the Village Green and Walking Garden, Edsel Community Farm, Oak Allee, and a firepit area overlooking the neighboring wildlife sanctuary.

Silk Hope is a perfect addition to The Ford Plantation, which is located on the banks of the Ogeechee River just outside of Savannah, Georgia. This makes Silk Hope, and The Ford Plantation, perfect for those looking to adopt the coastal lifestyle.

Silk Hope is being built on the site of an antebellum plantation from which it gets its name, and it is one of three former rice plantations that comprise the 1,800 acres now known as The Ford Plantation. The property, once owned by famed industrialist and auto magnate Henry Ford, is rich with history and folklore stretching back to the original founding of the Georgia colony by General James Oglethorpe in 1733.

120 Riceland Way is now completed!

The first Burghley home has been completed. The home design features a distinctive rolled gable roof form with the porch moved toward the street yard defining the intimate courtyard garden.
